David has been involved in Lavington Hairdressing since he met Mandy in 1986 and has always worked behind the scenes with bookwork and maintaining the three different salon locations.
David and Mandy married in 1988 and after 20 years of marriage Mandy passed away after a long battle of cancer in 2008 leaving behind their 8 year old son, Jarrod. Following Mandy's death David decided to keep Lavington Hairdressing operating in Mandy's memory as was her mother, Valda Spark's wish.
David married Lyn in 2011 and together they purchased the new premises and organised the move to Wagga Road.
He is an active member of the CFA (Country Fire Authority) and has been award the Wodonga Eagle Award for community involvement. In 2010 his face was on the cover of the Albury Wodonga Telephone book. David also was a bearer of the Baton for the Commonwealth Games in 2008 running through Wodonga. David is also a Justice of the Peace and an Accountant for HVP Plantations in Myrtleford.
You will see David at the salon most weekends cleaning out the fish tank, which the young children all love.
